T-babble

Phrase used to describe a style of dialogue in filmmaking. Composed of curse-laden, quick-witted, back and forth banter concerning the most mundane of subjects. This style was popularized by Quentin Tarantino in films like Reservior Dogs and Pulp Fiction. The phrase is used equally as an homage to Tarantino as well as a put-down to copycat writers.

Jack's new script was 90 minutes of T-babble intercut with explosions.

A joke, statment or speech that leaves such a bad taste in your mouth that you wish you could gargle it away with mouth wash. Often applicable to politicians or people who think they're funny but aren't.

That guy speaks so much gargle babble that I had to leave the room before I threw up.

boy babble

Noun 'boi 'bab-uhl Life is so exhilarating — there's so much to talk about! Some young guys don't know when to quit. Anytime, any situation, almost giddy about becoming an adult, learning stuff, showin' it off. A conversation-dominator who all seldom asks somebody else's opinion. Their chatter batteries could power a Tesla for a month. Sadly, it's a thing. Wears down, hopefully off with age.

{After a 10 minute oration, finally...
Boy: Oh! and wait till you hear about my flight home."
Adult 1: Gotta go.

Adult 1: Boy babble.

Boomer babble

When a boomer begins to rant in poorly researched QAnon conspiracies and right leaning Russian disinformation for their confirmation bias which boiled down is sexist or racist ideology they refuse to acknowledge.

Usually as nonsensical as a baby’s babble.

Me: Man, did you just hear all that boomer babble coming from that old lady. Sounds like someone only gets their info from Facebook groups and memes.

Friend: yeah, the same boomers who used to say don’t believe on what you see on the internet are now the biggest perpetrators of their own unheeded advice.
