Prickly Pear Margarita

One of the hottest, newest and most trendy drinks out on the scene is by far the "Prickly Pear Margarita." Some of the hippest bars and restaurants have made this their signature drink. There are several recipes for this gourmet margarita:

Two ways to make a Prickly Pear Margarita:
1. Infuse your favorite tequila with the prickly pear fruit
2. Mix 2 1/2 oz. Voodoo Tiki Desert Rose Prickly Pear Infused Tequila; 1/2 oz. Triple Sec; 2 oz. Sour Mix; 1/2 oz. Orange Juice; 1 quick dash Grenadine-Shake with ice, strain and pour.

Prickly Pear

Describes the off putting reactive behavior of someone who is a little too sensitive but means well. The concept comes from actual prickly pear (cactus fruit) which has spiny thorns on the exterior that hide sweet fruit inside.

Don't mind that guy, he's a bit of a prickly pear but he means well.
