2. Typically expresses an inability to distinguish between fact and opinion.

3. Lying to oneself.

Claiming there were dinosaurs on Noah's ark is an exercise in self rationalization.

Jenny self-gaslights because she has convinced herself that the guy who has cheated on her twice will not cheat again even though he texts other women and is still very active on dating apps.

Selfcancel

This is the term for any person on social media who has contributed to cancel culture that now has to cancel themselves.

This is due to their own historical social media activity now becoming outdated, hateful, bigoted and unforgivable.

By 2026 everyone will be cancelled.

Understand they will not want to do this, but AI software will have dredged through all of Twitter accounts and threaten to cancel them if they don’t act first.

Tommy made a benign comment about the weather a few years ago on Twitter.

Shame he has had to selfcancel, quit his job, move out his house and live purely off his sense of entitlement.

Self conscious

Caring what other people think of you is not the same thing as allowing other people to influence your decisions or what you like and dislike (or who you are). It is possible to be who you are and still care what people think of you.

Everybody is at least somewhat self conscious, no matter the image they portray themselves as. Usually the ones most desperate to convince others they don't care what anybody thinks of them are the most self conscious people in the world.

Pre-Self Defence

The act of attacking someone under the ruse of self-defence, purely so they don't even get a chance to attack you. Usually happens in a bar or other locations that could have disturbance.

Person A: Giving me skittles should apply to you doing any Glasweigan things, such as bottling women, and taking heroin. Deep fried foods are okay, if it's fish. Anything else, a skittle.

Person B: then I'm gonna end up spending my student loan on a box of skittles and sending down south to you.

Person B: well deep fried foods I tend to avoid anyways - healthy diet for hockey! haha!

Person A: Well try to stick with it! Bottling women should be okay but the taking heroin.Well actually, it's incredibly smart if you think about it. The heroin and the deep frying cancel each other out
