butt dial rejection

The act of getting butt dialed, but when you call the person back they explain to you that they really did not mean to call you.

Happens mostly to people with a first or last names that begin with the letter A.

Andrea: Johnny finally called me!!! ... dials his number back.

The All American Rejects

A very good band that most guys don't apperciate b/c their girlfriends are too busy drooling over the hot ass lead singer/bassist Tyson Ritter and guitarist Nick Wheeler and their jelous b/c there's no way in hell that someone could look as hot as these two guys. Best song by them would have to be the Cigarette Song. So all of you need to shut the hell up and take some time and really listen to them cause they're kick ass.

A temporarily debilitating emotional/physical manifestation of withdrawal resulting from perceived rejection.

The condition presents from equal amounts perceived rejection AND self-pity/sulking.

After his girlfriend stormed out and damaged his frail ego, he later refused to sleep with her/was unable to perform, citing his feelings of rejectionitis.

false rejection

(Verb) : when a person (usually female) acts in such a way as to indicate rejection because they misinterpreted your actions as romantic advances, despite the fact that to any sane third person observer, they would not be considered as such. People who falsely reject usually suffer from some form of narcissism and have an overly inflated view of themselves and hence this is why they tend to perceive the most innocuous actions as advances on them because how could you not be trying to get with them?

EXAMPLE 1:
Boy- excuse me, do you have a pencil I could borrow? I forgot mine at home :/

Girl- no I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend already..
(In this case, the boy has experienced a false rejection)

EXAMPLE 2:
Boy: Hey Amy, how are you!
Amy: Hey FRIEND, I'm good, how are you?
Boy: Good, just wondering if we could meet up to discuss our group project?
Amy: sure FRIEND, can we do somewhere public like Starbucks or something, yeah friend?

*boy thinking*: why is this bitch trying so hard to make sure I understand she sees me as just a friend? Does she think I'm trying to get with her? OH GOD...SHE DOES...FUCK...I'M BEING FALSELY REJECTED RIGHT NOW! Damn this conceited bitch!
