Christian Calendar

The way in which some Christian churches envision and celebrate the 365/366 day year. Sunday begins the week, every week. Emphasis is given to Christian holy days rather than secular holidays

The Christian Calendar begins with the first Sunday in Advent (the four weeks before Christmas) and moves through Christmas, Epiphany, Ordinary Time, Lent (the 40 days, other than Sundays, before Easter), Easter, and Ordinary Time. Other special days within the Christian Calendar celebrate and draw attention to specific events in the life of Jesus Christ and/or the Church over the millenia. These include: Baptism of the Lord, Transfiguration of the Lord, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday/Holy Friday, Ascension of the Lord, Day of Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, All Saints' Day, and Christ the King.
On the Christian Calendar Easter is a season instead of just one day.

Plantation calendar

The Calendar was created for a new more Heavener American Kingdom on earth. Used exclusively on the "Oklahoma Blackberry Plantation." The year 1999 was flipped to create 1666. This secret calendar was synchronized and moved forward from that year. In the peaceful Heavener Plantation zone, it is the year 1688, while on this lawless earth it is 2022. In eleven years it will be 2033 on earth, while in the Plantation zone will mark the turn of another century at 1699. Another chosen one will show up in that year.

We are as unique as our dialect suggests, we are Cajuns. We are a very small ethnic group that is primarily concentrated in Southern Louisiana. Our ancestors were exiled from Acadie, France by way of genocide (1755-1785)Families were tragically seperated, or killed. Acaidians what are now known widely as Cajuns have a tragic and complex history you should read more about.

The word "Cajun" comes from the French pronunciation of Acadian which is "A-Cad-jin" or "Cajin" which then became "Cajun",
