Someone who sticks up for a friend or person in hopes of getting something out of it other then trying to help them.

Mostly males who trys to win over the girl they're protecting, yet making the girl seem bad.

White Knight

On an internet forum, a person who defends a member who is clearly wrong, usually with the hopes of gaining brownie points with said member. Often seen as negative behavior.

Similar to playing Devil's Advocate, but specific to internet forums.

Member 1: Why all the hate? He made a valid point and you guys are just dismissing him.

Member 2: Dude, stop white knighting, the guy's a troll. You're just making it worse.

White savior

White person who thinks that Africa or any other impoverished area will become rich by giving themhandouts. When in reality plenty of cities have become rich in a period of 20/30/40 years by just not restricting growth with high taxes or burdensome regulation making it impossible for economic mobility to be high . For example see TokyoMany black cities like Detroit have most of their politicians be black yet fail to help black people. The issue as most of the time is politicians. But donating half of your Walmart change may cure a little of that white guilt democrats suffer.

White Screen of Death

The screen that appears if you are curious enough to watch a VHS tape beyond the credits. It shows a screen after a few minutes of a blank screen, usually white or black, and has a beep noise like in a test pattern. They usually show up for a few minutes and then goes back to a blank screen, or continues until the tape is ended by static. No one knows what the purpose of them are as of yet. I guess they had to be cheap, they could of just showed a screen saying "End of VHS tape, please press stop" but no, they had to show something irritating and horrifying.

TV: "Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep"

Friend: "What the hell is that noise?"

Me: "Oh, its the White screen of death, I forgot to shut the VHS off, I guess it woke both of us up. That movie was boring."

Friend: "Whats a White Screen of Death?"

Me: "Its what is on the TV right now, no one knows what it means."

Adult: "It means the movie is over! Damn, you kids don't know nothing!"

Me: "No, there has to be a more logical explanation for them!"

A white styrofoam cup typically used in the south to drink Promethazine with Codeine cough syrup mixed with Sprite ("drank"). Possibly because of the abundance of Sonic drivethroughs in southern states which use styrofoam cups.
