Defam: verb
Defamming: noun, gerund

Defamming is the process of removing an individual from the Fam. The Fam (short for family) is usually a tight-knit group of people, otherwise fammable in nature, who see each other on a regular basis and consider themselves close. When someone has committed an atrocity in the eyes of the Fam, they can be defammed by a majority vote or by command of the authorities in said Fam.
