Barrett Hall

One of the freshmen dormitories on the College of William and Mary's campus, located on Jamestown Road. This dorm was recently remodeled, and is often referred to as "looking like a hotel." For this reason, all tours for prospective students are taken through the lobby of Barrett. It's a co-ed dorm basically in the middle of campus, with a back porch that has rocking chairs and benches. Really the only downside is that there's no air conditioning, but if you happen to get "allergies" its easy to have an AC unit installed in your room. The resident's of Barrett tend to be pretty much the most awesome kids you've ever met, and they are envied by all other freshmen.

Barrett Hall: Imagine a Holiday Inn, but with a lot more drunk kids and a lot less continental breakfast.

More often than not, the purchase or purchases are looked at as selfish and irresponsible, normally coinciding with avoidance or non-payment of an important bill or obligation.

Barrett

Take the best person in the world and divide him by two, then multiply him by four. That's Barrett. Barrett is the kind of guy that would buy a toaster for a homeless guy to use as a part of an insurrection against communist government for the greater good of all mankind nine times before breakfast. He also is irresistible to females, and it is rumored the Zodiac Killer was trying to kill every girl that wanted Barrett, because he was jealous that he couldn't have him because Barrett is not interested in males.

M82 Barret Light Fifty .50

A precision, semi-automatic rifle chambered in .50 BMG. .50 BMG, being the same caliber used in Browning anti-armor and anti-aircraft machine guns since World War I.

Primarily used for anti-armor or "anti-matierial" operations. Capable of stopping many small armored vehicles, it serves its purpose well. Its effective range is over a mile. Although impractical, it can be used as an anti-personnel weapon. For sniping "soft" targets, a lighter weapon like a 7.62mm rifle would be preferrable.

There's an artillery emplacement on a ridge about a mile North of here. Someone get me an M82.

Barrett

A firearms company based out of Murfreesboro, TN, which specializes in making rifles with freakin' huge calibers. Best known for the M82A1, a .50 caliber sniper rifle designed to take out veichles from a ridiculously long distance. The M82A1 also appears in Soldat, where it fills the role of n00b tube.

Some of their other models include the XM109 sniper rifle which shoots exploding bullets and the M107 sniper rifle currently adopted by the US military.

The truck carrying the weapons was almost over the border, when a bullet from a Barrett knocked out the engine block.
