Parkchester

Neighborhood located in the south eastBronx. Rising neighborhood becoming more and more middle class with the rent rising and neighborhood being well kept.
There has recently been an increase in the amount of South Asians spilling over from Castle Hill, and a decrease in violence.

person 1: I went to Parkchester last week for the first time in 5yrs yesterday and it was mad different than when I lived there.
person 2:word I know, the buildings are mad clean and there were mad Indians.

Dunwody Park

That one park in Cordova Park that everyone goes to but doesn't really use. Kids usually just meet there and hang out under the gazebo. The basketball court is almost never used, along with the soccer goals. There are two Gazebos, a wood one and a big metal one. The smaller wood one is regularly painted over to hide graffiti but the next day it's back to normal. The big one is made of metal so there isn't much graffiti on it because spray paint doesn't really stick well to metal i guess and there are outlets on it. Just don't leave your chargers there because some prick will come along and steal it. Also make sure you aren't standing in one place for too long because ants are constantly swarming the place due to kids leaving food from Tom Thumb on the tables. Also a word of advice, if you ever hear someone yell "SWERVE GANG", run as fast as you can.

Lincoln Park Trixie

A post-sorority girl in her early to mid-twenties, sports a Coach purse, oversized glasses and “Juicy” valor, seen en route to yoga (the easy kind), the day spa, shopping and then to Starbucks for a no whip, no foam, skim latte. She drives a Jetta (while sending a text message) to-and-from her overpriced studio apartment in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. Come sun-down, she scours the bars, Apple-Tini in hand, for a fiancé in the form of a day-trader, I-Banker or any other 6 figure income, generally named Chad or Todd and sporting a striped shirt.

Tad just proposed to some Lincoln Park Trixie he has known for 6 months. Yea the same one he met at a bar and cried for an hour when she spilled her Cosmo on her Coach purse.

Langley Park

A town in maryland whos heart is on university blvd, and new hampshire ave. it is known for its pupusa trucks behind toys r us, gigante express, NWL, PANAM, anas cafe, doña azuzena, estellas hair salon, pollo campero, and casa de maryland. the town has a ratio on 50 latinos for every ONE person of another race. u can buy mangos and minuta from corner stands. the traffic is horrible in the town but once u cross piney branch its gone. u always be seein chents wit black hondas and purple tinted windows. The lil salvador/lil mexico/lil honduras/lil guatemala of the metropolitan area. prolly more inhabited by latinos then their home countries. Oh and u cant forget about the tick-tock

if there was a day witout a latino langley park would be deserted.
