Science Bros

(A youtube channel with less than twenty subscribers) A group of teens(one is very small) trying to teach people on the internet, but once they get started. It all turns into a big joke. Many of the teenagers have alter egos(for example mr.pixels, the minecraft savage)

scientific materialism

Scientific realism.

The belief that the present is predicated on the past.

Determinism.

Assumes objectivity (a materialistic past) which falls in the broader sphere of subjectivity (phenomenonology).

Semantic materialism.

Linguistically deconstructed into intangibility (metastaticity) by postmodernism.

Oblivious to the metastaticity (meta-emergence).
Scientific materialism is highly semantic. Thus it is only good for solving questions of ethics or law. Ironically these are questions in the normative sphere of phenomena in contrast to the positive sphere scientific materialism claims to answer.

science flirting

Flirting is tied to the limbic system, those ancient parts of the human brain that control survival-based drives, such as sexuality and all the emotions that come with it. Here, flirtation is less a social skill and more an impulsive behavior that takes our intellect hostage. A flirt-or-flight response.

But flirting isn't entirely instinctual either. It's also governed by cultural rules and social etiquette. Breaking these rules, an embarrassing rejection, or pursuing affection at an inappropriate time can lead to a loss of social capital that can be hard to recover.

Stuck between the instinctual and social, it's no wonder that people feel at odds with themselves when it comes to the art of the flirt.

sciencism

The inexpert, flawed and sometimes intentional misuse of scientific method to explain anecdotal evidence in order to foment fear of actual scientific discovery or progress and to promote confirmation bias contrary to fact.
Janet placed the key on her neck and said to inquiry panel members: "If the vaccine doesn't fill your body with magnetic crystals, then explain why this key sticks to my neck. Huh?" The key promptly falls off her neck. Janet does not realize that keys are generally brass and won't actually stick to a magnet because -- wait for it -- brass is not magnetic. The key sticks to Janet's neck at certain angles because of perspiration, similar to the spoon-on-the-nose trick kids do at Thanksgiving gatherings. Janet has resorted to sciencism to justify her reasoning for not trusting vaccination against the pandemic.

Foundations of Scientific Inquiry

Called FSI, probably one of the most annoying forms of science ever devised. It involves theories, memorization of the periodic table, and lots of algebra that require four steps to solve. Many of these have frustrating formulas in order to determine specific heat, Boor's Law, mole to atom conversions, orbital notation, balancing from the activity series, and many others that can make your life miserable. Usually, the bookwork involves a large amount of problems that take hours to complete. The tests are also your worst enemy, and those who study for seven freaking hours usually get a 50 on every single test.
Scenario 1:
Miss Sakuraba: For homework tonight, please complete problems 1-9, doing every single problem!
Susumu: Are you freaking high on marijuana!? There can possibly be no way I can do every single one of them!

Scenario 2:
God dang it I failed Miss Sakuraba's Foundations of Scientific Inquiry class and now I have to take it again!

Scientology

"Scientology is knowledge. That's all Scientology is. The word Scientology means knowledge. That's all it means. Scio means knowing in the fullest sense of the word. Many people believe this is named after "science." No, is's scio; knowing in the fullest sense of the word; studying how to know in the fullest sense of the word. But this is the same word as Dharma, which means "knowledge"; Tao, which means "the way to knowledge", Buddhism, which means "the way to spiritual knowledge." It's an old word, a very old word. It happens to contain within it today possibly the bulk of what is knowable in terms of theory that is immediately knowable to anyone anywhere."
Who cares what happens when others do not? The Scientologist. Who can help handle criminality, drug abuse , illiteracy? Anyone who choices to get Scientology applied. Who are the Scientologists? Those who are opinion leaders in the arts, science's and technology.
