bag skate

A hockey practice where players are forced to do repetitive skating drills until they are exhausted, or have "skated their bags off". It's often used as punishment for an underperforming team.

After losing the game, the team was bag skated. Hopefully they play better next game.

Slater Slide

The act of quitting one's job in flamboyant fashion, so named after Steven Slater, the JetBlue Flight Attendant who dealt with one unruly passenger too many. He cussed out the passenger on the PA, said bye-bye to a 20 year career as a flight attendant, grabbed some beer from the galley, popped the escape slide, jumped out on the tarmac, walked to his car and drove home, thus becoming an instant folk hero.

Man, I'm so fed up with this place, I'm gonna pull a Slater Slide. Fuck 'em all!

Skate Date

When a skateboarder takes somebody (skater/non-skater) on a date involving skating. One party is typically a decent skater as to impress or give a lesson to their date.

Lucy brought her spare skateboard out on her skate date with Jen so she could teach her how to kickflip.

When one is on the toilet taking a shit, but is turned around and facing the toilet tank.

Named for A.C. Slater of popular show 'Saved By the bell', because he always sat backwards in his chair at 'The Max'.
