Sometimes colloquially added to something you just said,to indicate that there is a pun to it.

As the turtle and rabbit raced off in a racecar and robbed little 8-year-old Jamie of his pants,they called to him,"You lost your pants,kiddo,but keep your shirt on-pun intended!"

As pantsless 3-year-old Patrick yelped in indignation at being stared at by his cousin,10-year-old Michael,and Michael's friends Josh and Frankie,his mommy Rachel said,"Patrick,pumpkin,just ignore them and keep your shirt on,pun intended!"
