The Hock

A perilous endurance challenge in which participants are airdropped onto a frozen lake within a boreal forest of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in early March. Individuals may bring any equipment they can carry, excluding firearms, maps, and communication devices, rescue beacons also prohibited. The objective is for participants to survive and navigate back to civilization or die trying.

being on hock time is where you have the belief that you are early for everything and others are late, when in reality, you are the one that is late. usually affects those in authority, like CROSS COUNTRY COACHES
