Generalized Anxiety Disorder

A chemical brain disorder that causes one to worry about everything, even things they don't particularly care about. Also causes one to not be able to relax properly. Most people do not take this disorder seriously, even though it is very serious and can cause a lot of problems in a sufferer's life.

Me: I have to tell you something.. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and it's ruining my life.
Friend: Oh. So what'd you buy Suzie for her Birthday?
Me: Uh I just told you I have a fucking anxiety disorder.
Friend: Yeah, I worry about stuff a lot too. So anyway about the party?

disney Channel

A channel that always has shows with lame, repetetive plots, and will make a show or a movie every time they think of an amusing pun or any random theme (i.e. a kid who plays baseball and cooks.) Although the target audience is 9 year old girls and fruity boys of their early teens/preteens, they will not heisitate to make movies like "High School Musical" (by the way, if they wanted to make a realistic high school movie, it wouldn't be on Disney Channel, it would be on comedy central at 10:00 at night.) Every frikin month they make a new movie and use the same actors (or better yet actresses) over and over and end up turning them into crappy, anerexic pop performers with no skill who end up lasting for little over a year.
Unfortunately you can tell it will be around for a LONG time since their so rich they dont even need to show commercials that dont advertise their own things

discworld

Thw world's best series of books. The discworld is a flat disc ("like a pizza but with less pepperoni and more mountains") carried on the back of four elephants, carried on the shell of a huge turtle (called great A'tuin) which swims through interstellar space. Characters include, Nanny Ogg, Rincewind, Ridcully, DEATH (a seven foot tall skeleton who talks in capitals all the time), and the luggage ( a trunk that walks around on hundreds of tiny feet). As you can guess, this is a pretty random set of books, but it has loads of parallels with our world for a flat disc on the back of four elephants on the back of a giant turtle, which is complete comedy.

If you want to start reading these, a good one to start with is "reaper man" mentioned by someone else I think or "The colour of magic" Long live terry pratchett!

Disphemism

The opposite of euphemism- an unfortunate or unpleasant term used where a much nicer one would easily work. Also- dysphemism.

Ever notice how Clark is prone to disphemism? He calls Clarice 'fat' when 'curvy' would work or how Clark calls Jason a dwarf even though 'short' would be more accurate.

Young Blood's Disease

It refers to certain type of bad facial feature in comic books, where Linkara first noticed it in Young Blood's #1.

The eyes on characters are either non-existant or just really poorly drawn in. Young Blood's Disease afflicted millions during the Dark Age of Comics, and even today cases have been known to pop up.

This comic book sucks! Who the hell drew the faces for these characters? They've all got Young Blood's Disease!
