(also the nickname of a famous dotaplayer)

A true statement of wonder at the world we live in, WAAWLI.

WAALY

An acronym meaning "We Are Almost Like You" used to described the creme de la creme of the boarding school educated. A true Waaler or Waaly is a Swiss boarding school educated heir to a financial dynasty older than most countries or the son of a morally dubious oligarch/magnate. While some only speak of going on holiday in the Swiss Alps, a WAALER lives and hops betwixt them more than a drunk social climber changes conversations at Billionaire in Porto Cervo. A WAALY Is 99.9% more likely to boast about the boarding school he went to than his Oxford/Wharton degree. Not to be confused with the lesser-species of middle class UK boarding school students, who will often try to associate with or emulate the WAALY elite.

That WAALY/WAALER Jean-Louis kept casually mentioning how much he likes living in Ollon, it was honestly a pathetic flex, does he even know I am an Ancien Roseen? That said, he did have a pack of Montecristos in his pocket!
