Perpetual Line Crosser

Someone who consistently makes comments that cross the line. Someone who doesn't understand witty banter, instead moving to insults. Typically a meathead, or someone who lacks the intelligence to burn someone in a humorous manor...

we need more respect and credit than we get. next time an o linemen is disrespected by the quarterback, do a "lookout call" and watch what happens. next time a defensive linemen is direspected by a teammate, wait that wont happen

line stepper

An individual who has crossed certain social boundaries, i.e. "the line". Typically this individual is a "habitual line stepper", or one who fails to recognize standard social norms and mores dictating proper behavior in public and in matters of social interaction.

Walk the line

2. To behave; to abide by the the law and/or to abide by moral standards; to walk a straight path of decency by following the rules; to "walk the straight and narrow."

The latter definition is that applied in the song "Walk the Line" by Johnny Cash.
