The process of making someone appear less fugly, usually with the application of makeup and in extreme cases with corrective surgery.

1) After her defuglification surgery, the girl no longer needed to wear a bag over her head everyday.

2) Defuglification, possibly along with therapy, is the final step to curing Ugly Duckling Syndrome

Someone who falsely takes credit for creating/making up a word:

1. that is not located in any modern dictionary
2. whose origins/roots are unclear
3. that is commonly used

A couple of years ago, Jeff proudly told Rodney that he had created a new word - defugalty. Rodney's friend Lewie was skeptical; so, he looked up "defugalty" on urbandictioary.com and saw that the word was already listed and apparently was commonly used by many people.

Jeff is such a defugaldick.
