Portuguese Friday

fridays where one wears some red, green and yellow swag in honor of the Portuguese. What usually happens is if a person does wear Portuguese attire, a series of miracles will happen, and you will have a good ass night. Predominant in Southern California

Guy:"Aye homie, my test got canceled today, and i needed change for a 5, and the bimbo gave me $6 in return!"
Other Guy:" Dude you're sporting a lot of Portugal swag... these are Portuguese Friday miracles."

Formal Fridays

Due to the popularity of shows like Mad Men, games like L.A. Noire and a resurgence of overall classiness, and in part a rebellion against the hip-hop, grunge, "swag" culture of many high schoolers, Formal Fridays are a day for 20-somes and college students to dress in more formal attire, listen to big band and jazz music and sip straight liquor on the rocks.

Can't wait to wear this new skinny tie on Formal Fridays at the bar.

Firearm Friday

refers to the day of the week, followed by Thursday, in which guys go to the gym before going out to solely work on the arms (firearms) and then proceed to kick off the weekend of partying with shotgunning a beer thereafter (firearm)... a total frat move

"Firearm Friday is tommorow, so we have to do bi's and tri's at the gym for the ladies right before shotgunning those Budweisers"
