anti-conformist

Those kids who hate everything that is popular and make themselves like things that everyone else hates in the hope that it will make them stand out and be "original" or "unique." The kind of person who instead of jumping off a cliff if someone else did, would jump off a cliff if everyone else said it was a terrible idea.

Not to be confused to with nonconformists, who choose their own tastes uninfluenced by others.

Joe: "Hey Mary, have you heard the new Katy Perry song on the radio yet?"

Kara: Oh my GOD that song sucks! Who honestly listens to that crap?"

Joe: I know, I hate it.

*Kara walks away*

Mary: She's never even heard the song before. She just hates it because it's popular.

Joe: Wow, what an anti-conformist.

Confederate States of America

A group of states that didn't like the way United States of America was going, so they said they weren't really part of the United States of America anymore. The rest of the country didn't like this, so they started a war. A lot of people think the war was fought over slavery, but that was just one issue among many. Most southerners didn't even own slaves, although most of the ones who did owned a lot of them. The next most common thing is to own one slave or no slaves.

If the Confederate States of America had won, things would be so much better now. People would've abolished slavery eventually and the Confederate States of America were much more for state rights than our government is today.

confusing as father's day at shawn kemp's house

a very confising situation. Named so because Mr. Kemp has six children with four different women, and so the occurence of father's day will likely feature puzzlement on Mr. Kemp's part as he tries to match the children with their mothers, not to mention the catfight bound to break out when four ghetto ladies gather to discuss the children fathered by the same man.
