2020s teen

These kids were children in the 2010s, and were adolescents in the 2020s. Many of them probably like doing things like Tiktok, Instagram, PlayStation 5 gaming, and a lot of other modern-day technology-based things.

I was born in 2005, so I suppose I can be called a late 2010s/early 2020s teen. I certainly do remember the things stated above. However, I was only engaged into a few of them - the other things never really got my interest.

teenage identity loophole syndrome

1) The staggering problem in the life of at least a few kids aged 16-18 wherein desires to become a better human being are steadfastly postponed in favor of the perpetual, pleasant nothingness of the life long afforded to them thanks to their parents' hard work

2) Encountered in between childhood and adulthood; affecting middle/upper class teenagers who enjoy the coziness and instant gratification of their good old childhood lives but fail to address their future - inevitably stalling the progress of their adult lives for the worse.

Kid with raging case of teenage identity loophole syndrome:

"College is on the horizon, and I could be making money for myself right now, but I'm gonna go ahead and dedicate this morning...(stretches)... to the couch, the TV, the computer, and the almighty pop-tarts in the freezer. Ouch, why's my mind sending me a pain signal?"

Pre teen

Loud and whiney, usually found roaming around the mall trying to be 'grown up' while shopping at Limited 2. Idolize Hillary Fluff and Hannah Montana. Demand respect and attention at all times. Most have not started puberty yet, but walk around in tight jeans and mini skirts with no hips or tits and crappy, trendy haircuts.

Some people (what I can only speculate as children) ignorantly claim 18/19 year olds are NOT teens, and label them as adults yet fail to acknowledge teen isn't a title, it's an age categorization that's upto a government or a countries legal system to decide what they and what they do not proclaim as adults, some countries chose to label their citizens as adults as early as 15, some as late at 21, In accordance of Jewish law a boy become a man ages 13. WHEN you hit your second decade of life (20+), you're known as a 20-something, before that period, you're a TEEN.

Teen is not a title, it's an age.
SIX-TEEN.
SEVEN-TEEN.
EIGHT-TEEN.
NINE-TEEN.

American: An eighteen year old is not a teenager! It's an adult!
