Fail

Word that is being consistently overused by assholes all around you so they can fit in and sound cool. Used to describe a minor disappointment in life, such as having a typo, tripping on your shoelace, or dialing the wrong number.

pass-fail

When you successfully pass someone on a road, only to see them pull up beside you at the next set of stop lights.

Alex: ugh goddamn this slow guy, he's going 49 in a 50
Joe: Pass him dude
3 minutes later
Alex: oh the guy i passed is beside us now
Joe: Nice pass-fail man

same as fail, but a more personal description of someones actions, as in did not succeed, did not finish, could not accomplish

John went to the club last nigh but he did not come back home with some poontang..... He failed...

meta fail

A fail that is not achievable by most people. contrary to popular belief epic failure is not the highest form of failure, meta failure is. if you ever achieve meta failure you should A)kill yourself and do the world a favor B)never again partake in the activity that you achieved meta failure in as long as you live

Examples: bush, Enron, Antarctica.

person 1: "dude, that girl just choked on air"
Person 2: "meta fail"

fail

The "not" of the 2000s. Something that is okay to say this year but if you say it next year will just get you looked at weird, like if you wear to go out in public with a fanny pack or wearing overalls with only one strap buckled. Used to disapprove of anything and everything. Only momentarily, of course. Often piggybacked with "fail" as "epic fail". Another reason for other socities to despise the ineptitude of the human beings within ours.

Facebook, 2007 Edition.

It used to be alright when it was for elitist university/college students but sometime during mid-2007, everyone and anyone and their grandmother joined it, and then it became equally as gay as myspace.

And as for the "you've been bitten" / "how attention-whorey am i" applications, they only add to the fail and AIDS that failbook is.

Ass and Fail

What bad things are made of. Another way to say that something sucks. Comes from the fact that asses and failure aren't generally considered to be good things.

Not quite as retarded as teh suck, but pretty close.

Boys are made of snips and snails and puppy dog tails.

Girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice.

Things that rule are made of win and god.
