practicing violin

an action meant to improve a musician's playing skills on the violin, sometimes called a fiddle. Often produces noises similar to a cat which has been run over by a car. May also cause immense frustration in the musician or others around him/her, so watch out for potentially dangerous flying objects which have been thrown across the room.

Johnny was very diligent at practicing violin, much to the dismay of both his family and his dog, Fido.

Target practice

A game where you throw a dildo off the roof/window/balcony during a party or outside event to see it if hits someone. Points are given in reference to how far the target is, how close you got to hitting it, and how long is the projectile.

Fake Practice

The act of pretending to study for a test such as the SAT but actually playing Sims 3 with all volumes off. Usually results with bad reflexes when someone walks in the door to see your SAT book closed and your face on the screen. It usually causes an awkward moment, stuttering and a bad lie which gets you in even more trouble.

*Mom walks into room*
Mom: What are you doing?
Guilty: I-am-just-watching-the-SAT-tutorial
Mom: That was a Fake Practice right there. You're grounded!
