Proper Noun, Derogatory name for General Petraeus, the United States military commander of the War on Terror. Commonly, liberals associate "Betray Us" with "Petraeus" because of the point that violence is not the American way.

Libertarian or Conservative: "God, I hope that General Petraeus defeats the fundamentalist Muslims of the Middle East."

Liberal or Democrat: "Ugh . . . it's General Betray Us trying to keep fighting. You know that this battle is stupid anyway."

Derived in July 2008 ,betranap is when you got to bed with the intention for a 'quick 10 minute nap',with unfinished homework still waiting,but the next time you open your eyes ,it's 6 am in the morning.Betarnap is a portmanteauof the words ,betray and nap.

It was 11.am and the a/c was so frightfully cold and I just could'nt resisting taking a quick power-nap ,though I had to write 3 essays for French.It turned out to be a Betranap when the next thing I knew was it was 6 in the morning and I had 3 unfinished essays to keep me company !
