Ratchet is a noun as well as an adjective. As a noun, a ratchet is someone (male or female, of any race) that has no social grace. They do not know how to say things like "please" or "thank you" and are often seen wearing clothes that are either too big or too small. Example: "That ratchet came over here and made a huge mess, then left it for someone else to clean!"
As an adjective, ratchet describes a person's behavior. It does not imply or insinuate a gender, race, or sexual preference. Plainly put, if someone says, "You are ratchet" they are saying you act like a fool, you have no manners, and you are ignorant in all forms of etiquette. ratchet defines all of the nastiest black people and or white people who, think they are black. Their life revolves around makeup, and they look up to douche generally when you see someone who is ratchet your inner eye will bleed and you will wonder why god is such a fucking ass hole and who shoved the stick up his ass.
