The word American comes from the country where the dog was bred and refined, from its ancestors in europe. The word Pit, comes from where the dog proved its strength and valor. The word Bull comes from the dogs ancestry which includes the famous bulldog. The dog,who among other things, would latch onto a bulls nose and not let go. The word Terrier comes from the other dog in the apbt's bloodline a small, game, quick, hunting dog. A true a.p.b.t should always be bred by his character.. Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
