Gene, on the other hand, practises hygiene, therefor serves as a clean, desease free light that shines through John's stink cloud.

Hygiene Hiatus 

A short time span where one voluntarily does NOT shower or shave. As you are NOT needing to be anywhere or meet anybody, you just let yourself go and be free!

Roger: Hey, Dave! How was your three day holiday? You did not have to go anywhere, right?

Dave: Oh, Man, it was great! I did not have to shave or shower, and all I did was watch playoff football and eat pizza! A hygiene hiatus like this was perfect!
