evil human impulse personified by humans as a separate entity, most likely to blame others for their own bad choices.

natural animal asset, ideally placed, by Nature Itself, on the actual animal, in perpetuity.
something you no longer need in the modern world, with all these breathtaking technological advancements and successfully applied research in the field of better-for-you, more ethical, more sustainable materials.
opportunity to evolve beyond being a selfish traditionalist.

person A: no! my favourite brands are still producing leather goods inscribed with Gucci/D&G/LV/...
person B: no! there is nothing more luxurious than a leather couch or car seat.
person C: no! that black leather jacket makes me feel trendy/cool/younger than i actually am, the feeling needs to be real.

although mostly described on the internet as something taking massive, complex proportions, this is pretty much every moment when you choose to not focus on your actual life, and instead pick to escape to some other version of events.
also known as counterproductive daydreaming.
can you make a choice (most often a series of choices) that can change your circumstances in some way? if the answer is "definitely no, i am stuck here, for real, with no escape whatsoever, seriously", then think about working with yourself to improve some other aspect of your life instead. it will not be in vain.
an action plan that you actually plan on taking action on, but you think about a lot, will not fall under this category...unless you are a coward, and keep delaying taking action. that's maladaptive.
some consider this type of daydreaming/fantasising as manifestation, or, worse, as meditation. that is why they are, most likely, behind on their goals...or they just have unethical goals and the universe said: "denied!".

Doug's brain: it's summer. it's too hot. i'm uncomfortable. i am seeing myself engulfed in snow..making snow angels..skiing..making more snow angels (loop on last image)
some God: i'm thinking hard right now where to place this. might be maladaptive daydreaming, it's a bit of a gray area. the snow angels are a nice touch though, thanks!

mathematical algorithm that that creature that you hate, the annoying fly, uses as a flying pattern. unbelievable!
seems like a useful evasive manoeuvre.

something you definitely need, regardless of how old you are, and untouchable you feel right now (me, at 18), to make sure you will always age gracefully (aka. for sure less wrinkles and sunspots). use A LOT! pick the highest SPF you can find, and reapply regularly, the sun has no mercy! and keep in mind that, broadly speaking, right now, that SPF pretty much refers to how often you need to reapply. understand the difference between a chemical sunscreen and a mineral one, read some reviews and pick the type you are most comfortable with. and yes, one will make you look a bit more white when it has a higher SPF, but it's healthier.
a tan is a skin burn, so it's damaged skin. embrace your natural, initial, skin colour, and don't blindly follow current beauty trends. think about your future look.
stick to the shadows, if you're seeing natural light around, this means the sun hits you in some way already, don't worry so much about your vitamin D, that's not how you optimise heath for your bones (but do go and check to see if you have a vitamin D deficiency, it might be genetic, and you might need supplements, you might need to take some vitamin D3).
don't go to the beach to get a tan, go for the view, the salty air, the vast open space for swimming, or just the pleasure of hanging around in water, if that's more your style.

Doug: i see light outside, the sun is there, somewhere. where's my 50+ SPF mineral sunscreen? this London weather is not kind on my skin. where are more clouds? damn you, global warming, damn you!

a popular, yet highly condemned, body aesthetic personal choice, which people use to show off, express their creativity, deal with traumatic events, or fix temporary whims and boredom.
basics: a needle goes into your skin repeatedly, to make a tear and get non-toxic (desired) ink inside. ideally, you do this tattoo thing once, then you move on to another patch of skin, unlike with botox (toxic) or other skin procedures (radio/high frequency, microneedling, peelings, etc.) that work on the basis of they destroy your skin and/or other cells and you need to use up some telomeres and eventually stem cells to heal yourself, procedures that you end up doing over and over in your life. yes, to look better, and yes, you heal, and yes, right now humans don't reach the maximum potential of their genetic lifespan anyway to feel a reduction, and miss those stem cells, so why not? better to focus on protecting your heart, and donating to research for cancer, and other bad things.
if done in truly sanitary conditions, tattoos are not that bad for the body, unless there's something off with the ink, or you choose to remove the tattoo, breaking the ink apart into small-small toxic particles that will then all get absorbed into the bloodstream. health hazard! good luck kidneys! and not only. so choose wisely. ideally you should not have it removed.
wouldn't it be nice instead to have this ink be nutrients for the body, so that you kinda get a vitamin boots when you wanna change things up?

naysayer: tattoos are bad, but i use a derma roller to keep my skin looking young and fresh.
Doug: i smell a bit of a hypocrite here.
