A 1/4 square mile hellhole full of some of the most classless wealthy/moderately affluent people alive. An area of Manhattan smeared with dog shit and smelling strongly of piss. The UES is full of rude old people with tacky accents who wear fur in 55-degree weather. It is also home of the brattiest children alive, all of which who have a minority nanny or are cocaine-snorthing whores.

Remember the movie Cruel Intentions? Throw a few thousand of those little ParisHiltonesque pursepuppies, and there's your accurate depiction of the upper east sider.

Preppy

A gorgeous, rich girl who plays golf and tennis and who skis in the winter. They belong to country clubs just for playing golf and belong to other clubs just for playing tennis because the tennis lessons at the country club are not foccused on tennis. She has attended a private school since the age of 3 and has goals in life such as being a Lawyer, Doctor or CEO of a medium to large company. She wears ribbons in her hair from Burberry, Coach, Louis Vuitton etc... and is extremely nice. She is beautifull but might not be popular. She is always clean and always brushes her teeth. In the summer, they have a BMW convertible and in the winter they have a Poarshe or Mercedes-Benz. When people look at them they smile unless they are looking at their new-never-before-seen car because she has always had "old money" and is used to being rich and having the best cars ever. She has her own luxurious bedroom and is again, extremly nice to everybody. She gets great grades and has Britney Spear's body. She is super cute and super nice. She has a ton of REAL friends. She doesn't care about popularity unless, she can't do anything about it. She has a preppy car (BMW, etc...) as well as a preppy "coat and tie) boyfriend.

A prep is hard to be, but anybody can be it with a little of hard work
