"The ONE day I call in sick at work, and the fucking boss, who happens to leave work early... sees me at the strip joint...go figure!!!"

having someone of importance at your disposal to help further your own agenda. usually involves kickbacks of some sort.

it's a well known fact that many corporations have politicians in their back pocket, thats why it seems like they're the ones really running things.

gotcha

a reply of acknowledgement, a verbal abbreviation of "I got you", which is derived from "I got what you're saying".

me: "I'm staying in tonight."
her: "why? you not feeling well?"
me: "nope. I'm cuffed."
her: "gotcha. oh well don't worry about it. I got cash. I'll be there in 5, see you soon."
me: "sweet."
