splanched out
"Splanched" is a portmanteau word combining "spent" and "blanched". To say that someone is "splanched out" is to say he looks like he's been through the ringer; that he's pale, drawn, slightly unwell; like he's just undergone a draining personal ordeal; like he's just seen a ghost.
"Wow, have you seen Calvin? He just got back from Japan where he was searching the bins for old vinyl copies of Libby Titus' second album and he looks totally splanched out.

lipstick lizard
A female between the ages of 13 and 30 (usually from Brooklyn, Long Island or New Jersey) who wears a lot of makeup and will fellate almost any guy as long as he's in a band or has even the slightest connection with the music business. Once associated with the old City Squire Hotel on Broadway and 49th Street, they now can be found almost anywhere from Columbus Circle down to Tribecca. Also known a {blower}.
"Hey, Howie, tell Vance to make a few calls and round up a couple of lipstick lizards for after the show."

battle apple
A large mace-like weapon used by street gangs in small town America in the Fifties and early Sixties. The battle apple works most efficiently when buffed up to a fine shine with a shammy cloth and a dab of saddle oil.
