BANANA 

Acronym for: Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anything

A similar but more extreme label than NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard), used mainly to refer to suburbanites or environmentalist groups protesting the building of oil refineries, nuclear waste dumps, etc. near their property.

klusterfuck 

A mechanical device or machine that may do it's job, but it:

-Looks like it was designed by a 5 year-old.

-Has a gazillion parts to do a simple job, with many extraneous parts that don't do anything but try to look pretty.

-Breaks down more often than not.

-Makes loud or weird movements or noises, burns up, slows down then stops in the middle of something, or generally falls apart before completing it's mission.

Man, did you see that klusterfuck of a muffler Tony put on his Toyota?

slugbucket 

A slow moving, slow thinking lout. The slowest moving creature at the bottom of a bucket. The last choice, the only thing left. Akin to a shufflebutt, but slower.

"Who in the hell picked that slugbucket to save our team?"

A government employee, particularly one who handles paperwork. Anyone possessing the speed & skills of a government employee. Refers to the speed & manner with which all government employees perform their daily tasks.

"Better figure three hours to get your drivers licence with those shufflebutts."

If a slugbucket is a slow thinking lout, then a klugebucket is a slow thinking, loutish mechanic.

gnat's ass 

Very small measurement used by toolmakers & engineers, or roughly .0001 or one ten thousandth of an inch. Actual size may vary between shops, but always much less than a pussy hair. About one tenth of a skosh which is equal to approximately one nudge of the dial.

Note: When specified, generally regarded as smaller than the smallest one can measure or produce, since while most people intuitively understand that a gnat's ass is pretty small, few have actually bothered a gnat to measure one.

"Clearance is clearance, Clarance, but that die is only missing by a gnat's ass".
