They're clay shapes that you put seeds on & water the open space inside & then it grows like hair. There's many different shapes & so fun!

slam~dancing 

A craze where people actually slam themselves into other people. Violent but fun til you get hurt.

After slam~dancing, I got jarred severely so sat the rest of the dance party out.

King Ranch, Texas 

The Largest ranch in the USA, having 600,000 acres. It's a tourist attraction as well as a working ranch. Spectacular to see!

My neighbor took me to see King Ranch, Texas & I was simply Astounded!

A sport of good aim, usually thrown at a tree or fence. Fun & it takes Skill to do this.

I'm pretty good at knife~throwing & hatchet~throwing, I get 8 out of 10 spot on!

Green Flash 

Looking West, at the Ocean, just at sunset when the last part of the Sun dips below the horizon, there's a brilliant green flash, similar in color to the green seen thru prisms. It lasts less than 1 second. A rarely~seen natural phenomena!

I was fortunate to see the Green Flash at the Cliff House at San Francisco, California. Only later did I learn that it's rare to see this!

Monster Trucks 

HUGE specially made Super~Tough trucks that have shows. The tires are over 5' tall & the roar of the engines damn near make you deaf but it's So Awesome to attend 1 of their shows! The trucks even run over other ones!

I got to ride in the back of 1 of the Monster Trucks & it was a blast! So Fun!

Mount St. Helen's volcano 

In 1980, it erupted & blew all the trees down that were around it for 30 Miles! The ash carried for over 500 Miles & was like glass. It's located in Washington near the Oregon border. On May 18th, it erupted at 8:32 AM Mountain Time.

When Mount St. Helen's volcano's dust reached us, I didn't know what was happening. I thought someone was drag~racing! We had to stay indoors for a week & hose off the roof, yards, & driveways. What a shocker! Talk about Power!!
