peep show

A great new British TV comedy show, which started on Channel 4 in 2003. Fairly similar to BBC show The Office because it's done in the style of a documentary, but here much of the episode is seen through the eyes of the show's two main characters.
Peep Show is great, because it's new and different.

Teachers

An excellent British TV show, which began in 2001 and has gone from strength to strength. Sort of comedy, it's in a similar style to Peep Showand The Office.
Teachers is one of the best shows on Channel 4.

Green Wing

A great new Channel 4 show, set (mainly) in a hospital. Sort of comedy, sort of drama, it's also a bit like a sketch show. And Teachers, another C4 show.
"I haven't checked out Green Wing yet, but I hear it's great."

Julian Clary

A camp British TV personality, who is also known as a comedian and (sometimes) an actor. Best-known for his (outrageous) dress sense and use of innuendos in nearly everything he says.
"Julian Clary is a great comedian, but not one of the best".
