A great band with an extremely unique sound. A Muse song will rarely be confused with another band's song.
They have many different styles, some songs are softer while some get quite heavy.
I've heard from various people that they're very good live, too.
Muse are very awesome. (:

Empire State Building

A 102 floor art-deco skyscraper in NYC. It stood as the world's tallest building for 41 years before being surpassed by the World Trade Center.
The Empire State Building is now once again the tallest structure in NYC and the second tallest in America.
The actual construction of the building started on St. Patrick's day, March 17. Because it opened during the Great Depression, much of its office space went unused and the building became known as the "Empty State Building".
The ESB holds many records, one less obvious one being the world's longest survived elevator fall, at 75 floors.
Floodlights that light the top of the building change seasonly and for different events.
The Empire State Building is pretty neat, if I should say so myself.
Usually used by illiterate 13 year olds on the net, meaning there's - there is.
13 year old: OMGZZ THERES A POP UP ON MA PC WOT DO I DO?
Person: "There's"
13 year old: LOL WOT DUS DAT MEAN?

An amazing word that can sum up almost any bad situation in a single syllable.

A bad grade.
Sam: Urgh, my girlfriend just broke up with me.
Soph: Fail!

I hope I don't get an F on the test.

Burj Dubai

A huge skyscraper - now the world's tallest freestanding structure after surpassing the CN tower in September- in Dubai.
The final height is secret, but it is estimated to be at around 2,684, leaving enough room for approximately 162 habitable floors.
The building was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, who are known for their other famous designs including the Sears Tower in Chicago and the Freedom Tower in NY.

In the U.S. it is usually used when something is cool and exciting.
In the UK it is used more to describe something not so pleasant, if something is gruesome and disgusting then it's sick.
