A "coming out" party for a newborn; a party where new (pretentious) parents present a new baby to family & friends where the guests sip beverages, mingle and see (but don't touch) the baby. It's almost a baby shower AFTER the baby is born.

cyber trance

the trance (zoning out) a non-tech person goes into when lost at an IT Tech meeting when the Tech people start throwing around terms like xml, url, code validation, parameters, servers, etc.
Melissa - "What was the matter with you in that meeting? You were in another place."

Ann Marie - "I had nothing to contribute in that tech meeting. All that talk put me in a cyber trance."

pillow texting

verb: "Pillow texting" happens in place of pillow talk - when you are not together but each of you are in your respective beds texting each other "good night"s, "wish you were here"s, etc. This invariably leads to sexting.
TJ - Our pillow texting doesn't hold a candle to our pillow talk. ;-)

Ann Marie - Pillow texting will have to tide us over until we can have our real pillow talk. :-*

FriYAY

A combination of Friday and YAY!, typically to indicate excitement about said Friday; a portmanteau of "Friday" and "Yay".
Can also be applied to other days of the week as such: SaturYAY, SunYAY, TuesYAY, WednesYAY, and ThursYAY. There is no MonYAY for obvious reasons.
Ann Marie - I've been waiting all week for this weekend. Happy FriYAY!

TJ - I've been waiting all week for FriYAY! I can't wait to see ya.

stand-in alcoholic

When you can't attend/participate in (work) "functions" such as Happy Hour, client parties, the office holiday party, etc.
Melissa - "I'm too hung over to go to this wine tasting event tonight but the client expects someone from our office to be there."
Ann Marie - "Do you need me to be your stand-in alcoholic?"
Melissa - "WOULD YOU?! That would be such a big help."

Anna - "I already went to 3 parties this week! I can't go to anymore. I need to give my liver a rest. Do you want to be my stand-in alcoholic? There should be some cute guys there."
Ann Marie - "Sure!"

ONM is an acronym of "Oh, Never Mind"; typically used in texting. It basically means "oh forget it". Not typically used with sarcasm.
