PYT
This is an acronym standing for Police Your Turds. You know the situation, some scumbucket of a co-worker has just used the crapper and you, with a bad case of green apple splatters, have no choice but to use it after them. There, in the toilet bowl, is lurking a truly vile, obnoxious and disgusting turd left there by the previous user who did not check to ensure that everything had been flushed away. Similar to Police Your Brass, a sign saying PYT – Police Your Turds should be on the back of every communal WC so that anti-social, brain-dead fuckwits have no excuse.
“That cunt Malcolm left a toilet bowl full of turds, I told the fat fuck PYT but he just looked at me blankly.”
“That shitbag should have a huge cork hammered up his fat arse be taken to a desert and force fed laxatives until he explodes. The fertilisation of the area would be the first useful thing he’s ever done!”

GOOD
Acronym standing for Gormless, Overbearing Over opinionated and Depressing. Although it’s really a bacronym it is useful as a comeback to those dismal fuckwits, usually female, who run motivational, performance improvement and other courses and who tell you that fine stands for Fed up, Insecure, Neurotic and Emotional. These people are usually unsure of themselves and are looking for some means to bolster their confidence; they should not, however, do it at someone else’s expense.
“The silly cow running the course told me that I shouldn’t say fine because fine stood for Fed up, Insecure, Neurotic and Emotional, I should say good. I told her that good was an Americanism with no place in the English language and that it stood for Gormless, Overbearing Over opinionated and Depressing and that she was the epitome of it.”

K-Bar
K-Bar also given as Kbar, Ka-Bar or KA-BAR is the name of a combat and utility knife adopted during World War II by the United States Marine Corps as the 1219C2 combat Knife. Later redesignated as USMC Mark 2 Combat Knife, the knife was also adopted by the US Navy as the US Navy Utility Knife, Mark 2. Besides being the name of the knife, k-bar can also be used as a verb, so if you k-bar someone, you kill them with a k-bar knife and someone killed in this way can be described as having been k-barred.
“I am pissed off with the bullshit we’re getting from that new STRAC REMF LT. As soon as we get out into the boonies, I’m goin’ to K-bar the bastard.”

STRAC
US Army slang commonly used during the Vietnam War; it probably originated during World War II and stands for STRictly ACcording (to regulations). It was an epithet applied to officers and NCOs who 'go by the book' and seem totally unable to think for themselves. It describes the military equivalent of a Jobsworth, frequently linked with REMF.

CNA
CNA stands for Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Nurse Aid. These are people who are underpaid, frequently unappreciated and provide back-up and support to doctors and nurses. They are the people who do the menial or unpleasant jobs people don’t think about which, if they weren't done would make the patient’s life intolerable. They carry out this work without fuss or drama and usually bright, cheerful and efficient. They are often treated with disdain by nurses and frequently berated by patients; despite this they do their work without complaint. Unkindly referred to as 'Cleaners of Nasty Arses' their work is essential to the effective running of both hospitals and care institutions.
“What was it like in hospital?”
“Dire! A right bunch of miserable bastards except for this CNA. She was always friendly and cheerful, I’d have gone nuts but for her. When I left I gave her a bunch of flowers, just to say thanks like, I thought for a minute she was going to cry, she was so surprised.”

Lit Up
Originally US Army slang from the Vietnam War meaning attacked or to be attacked but is now used more widely. The expression referred, initially, to night-time artillery attacks where illuminating rounds would be used to expose the target before it was destroyed with High Explosive, Fragmentation or White Phosphorous (Willie Pete) rounds. The use of the expression broadened until it was used to describe any intense attack whether on enemy positions or personnel or your own with an air strike artillery or small arms fire.
“Charlie lit up Kilo company’s compound last night. Man it was crazy, mortar rounds everywhere, but nobody got greased an’ only a couple of minor wounds. No evacs, just a purple heart an’ a pat on the head.”
