Auburn

Auburn is the largest, and has consistently been ranked as the top public university in the state of Alabama (USNewsWorldReport). Overall, Auburn has more athletic national championships than the University of Alabama. These consist of 6 national championships for the men's swimming and diving team, 4 for the women's swimming and diving team, 1 for the equestrain team, 1 for the women's track and field team, and 1 for the football team.
