It's preemptive jealousy. They prevent the negative emotion and connotation associated with jealousy IN ADVANCE... Because if they are jealous, everyome is justified in dismissing everything that they say. That's what they care about. That's all they are ever going to care about, Bassem. Until the chain of solipsism is broken, your lives are meaningless because... You're not THYM!"
