Called thusly due to the wording used when one calls the other.

"Hey Cindy, Youbusy?"
"No Bobby, I'll be right over."

Are you busy, Jos? Jos, are you busy?

Are you able to help out or take on another task?

Your manager will IM you these series of questions to see is you’re busy by saying “Are you busy, Jos? Jos, are you busy?” By asking twice, she will be more likely to receive an answer.
