Widline

Is a strong and independent Haitian woman. She’s probably got you enthralled by her ways. Beautiful and unique, you might say if she were a meal she would be infused with flavors that keep you wanting more. She’s stubborn and persistent yet kind and caring. If you dislike her, she most likely doesn’t care.

For example, John is talking to Ida about something. Ida doesn't care. She says "stop windling me John". A strange bystander then tells John he's a Windkling, kind of windling." John then windles no more.

wind line

During those times when the sea breeze doesn't come all the way to shore, the "wind line" is the shoreward edge of the sea breeze. At the "wind line" the ocean's surface changes from glassy to rough, and this boundary line can sometimes be seen from shore.

We paddled our sailboards out to the wind line.
