A spastic reaction by the wife, often kicked off when the spouse says no or askes them for house help. It may also occur when the wife is faced with unwanted challenges, such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry or dishes etc.
They will often argue the point of adulting and come up with various excuses and reasons of why something isn’t done or why they can’t do it. Almost always followed by “I’ll do it tomorrow” which never seems to come.
And no matter how in the right the spouse may be, the wife will fight tooth and nail prove why they can’t or shouldn’t do the adulting.

All I asked her to do was to fold the laundry for me and she threw a wifetrum which lasted for hours. So eventually I just did it myself and she was still mad.
