unpause

verb. synonym to "play" on a dvd player, vcr or other form of multimedia. Logical reversal of "pause". Originally from children's usage.

"Pause the video, please; I gotta pee!"

"Okay, unpause!"

If I get hungry while playing a game, I pause to unhungry, then go back and unpause.
