to be beyond gay. it may also be used to describe something as not cool.

someone who has decided to strap themselves into a tray (they call them snowboards), and slide down a mountain, looking ridiculous.

... look at that gay on a tray, he thinks he's with it 'cos he cant deal with the coordination of both his feet.
