One who identifies themselves with characteristics of (or belonging to) both the redneck and thug subcultures.
Example: A teenager who wears Guy Harvey T-shirts, drives a big truck, but blasts rap music.
Guy 1: "Was that rap music coming from that truck with the Salt Life Decal?"
Guy 2: "Yeah, he must be a thugneck."
Guy 1: "Was that rap music coming from that truck with the Salt Life Decal?"
Guy 2: "Yeah, he must be a thugneck."

Get the Thugneck mug.Some would refer to thugnecks as whiggers, however, do not be confused: A thugneck is a redneck who mimics African Americans' behavior, language and dress, while holding strong racial hatred towards them. Thugnecks can be discerned by their color coordinated clothing (shoes, shirt, hat), puffy jackets from WalMart, cheap looking, tacky gold chains (an absolute prerequisite), and of course, their reknowned molestaches. They are also known for their violent tendancies and Stinky Upper Lip Syndrome (SULS).
A guy I knew got beat with baseball bats by a bunch of thugnecks who were high on crystal meth and did not take his insult to their molestaches kindly.
