nub styros

Another permutation of nub--a collective or singular noun to refer to people, places, ideas or things that are particularly nubby, nubtastic, nubtageous, usw. Derived from "nub stylez."

Also, nub styros can be acceptably substituted for another common nub adjective, nub sauce.

Styrofoam

Slang used by self-harmers to refer to the second layer of skin (the dermis). Its white appearance resembles styrofoam, hence the slang. Usually shortened to "styro".

Lily: I think I made a styro cut.
Alice: I hit styro a couple times before, it's very scary!
Edward: Be careful with styrofoam cuts, they have a higher risk of getting infected.

Styro

Slang used by self harmers for the dermis layer of skin. If you hit styro, it means you've cut down to the dermis.

Styro cuts will be white at the bottom and will take a few seconds to start bleeding. They also bleed way more than cat scratches, and scar a lot worse.

Foam container used to hold a popular drink containing codine known as "syrup" "purple drink" "lean" etc. Originated in the south mainly in Texas.
