This occurs when you cant let go of a certain stock. Whether it soars to the moon or sinks to hell, a person with Stockhold Syndrome will never sell their shares.

Someone with Stockhold Syndrome could cut glass with their hands because they're made of diamonds.

Paperhanded Hedgefunds: lets sell all our shares, buy some shorts, and crash this stock's price! Maybe we'll crash the market too while we're at it!

Stockhold Syndrome sufferer: Huh.. I guess this stock is on sale now.. I better buy more and hold on to what I have.

Paperhanded Hedgefunds: Fuck! We need a bailout! We just lost billions to a bunch of apes with suffering from Stockhold Syndrome!

Most commonly seen in university/college residences. The act of eventually sleeping with someone, who was previously deemed subpar as a result of unfortunately close living/working arraignments and persistent efforts of seduction over time.

and/or A method of seduction in which one uses prolonged close living/working arrangements to their advantage to eventually convince an individual to sleep with them.

A democrat who, through years and years of manipulation and abuse, will endorse anybody the Democratic National Committee tosses as the main ticket for the US election. Often claiming to be on the left, a stockholmcrat is not aware that the democratic party is conservative compared to global politics and has effectively tricked its base into thinking they have their progressive interests at heart. Derived from the condition named Stockholm syndrome, which is caused by a subconscious bond to an abusive and manipulative captor.
