An INCREDIBLE song by the German band Rammstein. It's on their album Mutter. Remarkably easy to understand with little/no understanding of the German language. It's got that whole industrial feeling to it, really good stuff. Lyrics / translation below.

sonne is short for sovereign, a big gold ring worn by a bod or chav or kev.

In Birmingham, UK, Sonne is short for Sovereign ciggarettes. Most shop keepers are used to being asked for Sonne by underage chavs thinking they're cool by smoking.
Chavs smoke these for a number of reasons;
The name (they wear jewelerry of this name, see above)
The black and gold packs go with their tracksuits and bling
They are one of the cheapest brands on the market.

Sovereign cigarettes are manufactured by Benson & Hedges.
They are said to be made of the off cuts from B&H gold and Silver fags.

Sonne Laugh

1. The meaning comes from the band Rammstein's "making of sonne" behind the scenes video. While the band is watching over the video, they find a particular section humorous, leading to Richard Kruspe's (lead guitarist) overly obnoxious laugh, thus called the Sonne laugh.

2. A way to express yourself or someone laughing in an obnoxious way.

"Dude that was so funny it made me Sonne laugh!"

"I Sonne laughed so hard, milk shot through my nose!"
