Social Media Hostage
You have embraced social media, and are enthusiastically integrating it into your work and personal life. Suddenly you find yourself friended and followed by someone you are unable to comfortably deny. You become a Social Media Hostage when one of these unwanted friends/followers turns into a Facebook Stalker or full-blown Social Media Stalker.
Ann: He friended me on Facebook and followed me on Twitter...and I felt I had to accept. Now he's annoying as hell, and I can't comfortably unfriend or block him.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
