noun:

1. a team chant to fire up the players and fans before a game
2. a rally chant when a team is down.
(the Shamboogie reminds a team to have fun while playing hard)

verb:
1. to rally or get pumped up
2. to raise or elevate one's confidence, ready to accomplish the task ahead

"Game time, let's do the Shamboogie!"
"Let's shamboogie and kick some butt!"

In a videogame: "dude this guy is beating the hell outta me. I'm getting Shamboogied."
