Noun: A surfster, also known as a surf-hipster, is someone who listens to obscure surf bands and wears obscure surf brands until it becomes too mainstream. They are usually the one random person that waits for waves where no one else is because the good waves have become too popular with other crowds.

Dave: Hey why is that person over there? There aren't any waves breaking.

Jack: He's a surfster these waves are too well-known.

Dave: Fuckin' surfsters.

Pretending to work. Covertly engaging in fun activities instead of work, but still appearing as a motivated employee.

Three reasons for the origin of this word:
1) A serf was a form of slave required to work a master's land. Lower-level employees in a modern business can also feel like slaves.
2) Surfing the internet is a common activity undertaken instead of working
3) Surfer culture is traditionally laid back and does not value working

Friend: Were you busy at work today?
Office Worker: Nah, I was serfing all day.

An individual who claims to have high moral standing but really just wants more deductables on their income tax. A person who blindly supports maximizing profits, deregulation, cutting cost, cutting taxes, cutting benefits and then complains "You can't get good service anywhere these days"

"Why is everything I buy a cheap piece of crap?"
"Because the selfservatives got rid of quality standards."

"Why aren't kids learning anything in school?"
"Because the selfservatives keep cutting education because public school doesn't make them money like prisons or defence contracts."

"Why can't I get good service anymore!"
"Because the company they work for believes in maximizing profits over quality, even when they're already making good money, the employees think quality service is a joke. Here's your wine in paper cup you selfservative you."

A serf and james is the next and upcoming fad. In reality self expression was never a fad in the first place. this places serf and james on another realm of existence.
